Good News

Numbers-gfx1

God Loves You and has a plan for your life!

The Bible says, "God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die." John 3:16 God, the maker of all things, loves you and has a unique and wonderful plan for your life. He even gives you this promise in the Bible: "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

Numbers-gfx2The problem is that . . .

There is one obstacle preventing God from establishing a relationship with us–sin. It is something we all have in common–because we were all born with it. In the Bible, Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.." All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong - and our sin separates us from God.

The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,

Numbers-gfx3God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him." Romans 5:8

Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Saviour. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me." John 14:6

God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." John 1:12.

Numbers-gfx4You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Saviour.

To begin your relationship with God you must begin by praying (which is simply talking to God). We have included an example of a simple prayer that will help you know what you can say. The words are not as important as your attitude.

"God, I realise I need a Saviour. I confess that I have sinned and I know that my sin will keep me out of heaven. I realise there is not one single thing I can do to earn my way into Your heaven. Right now I am placing all, 100 percent of my trust, in Christ’s death on the cross and resurrection from the dead as payment for my sin. I now accept you as my Lord and Saviour, and I commit my life to you. Thank you for forgiving me and giving me your Holy Spirit."

If you prayed this prayer, record today's date - this is the most important decision you will ever make.

Ready for the next step......then get in touch with us to find out how you can receive new life!

Planning your Visit

A Warm Welcome

Where and When

We meet in person at 10.30am and online through Youtube from around 11am when we stream the teaching. Normally, for your first visit, we have recommended arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking space and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team and given a Welcome Pack with information about New Life.

We normally serve tea, coffee and biscuits from at the end of the service as it's a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings.

Plan your journey:

Open Google Maps

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets in the main foyer.

Our Service

Normally our service begins with a warm welcome from one of our team members and then lots of engaging activities during the next 1 hour or so that the service lasts.

We often have lots of engagement and involvement from all ages in the church and all our different cultures. Sometimes a person might pray out loud or read a small passage from the bible and one of our leaders will then give a message that is based on the bible and one that we can apply to our everyday life.

What about my kids?

Usually we have involve all the church family in an interactive programme often led by Community Pastor, Kerry Murray who can be contacted by mobile on 07810 120896 or on the church office number 01293 512574 or by email kids@newlifecrawley.church

During the times on Sundays their will be a suitable activity pack and also on occasions the children leave the main building to do activities such as play games, do crafts, sing songs and learn about Jesus. We also have a midweek club for Primary School aged children which runs fortnightly called "Cosmic Comets".

Relevant Children's workers are DBS checked.

We know how hard it can be for you and your kids to be part of a new group, so please do contact us if you have any questions about our children's work.

The kids group activities vary depending on the age but usually there is a friendly welcome, bible stories, testimonies, praying, music, craft, drama, fun games and free play.

Getting Connected

Small Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Small Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.

Serving and Volunteering

If you want to get involved in the life of the church and help us make Sundays run smoothly, you can sign up to serve on a team. We are also very supportive of our local community by working alongside other agencies and projects in order to express the love of God in a practical way across the area.

We also run the following ministries:
