Where & when does the church meet?
Our Church is currently meeting online as per details above but hopes to return to gathered worship as soon as possible.
Our address is:
The Glade
Furnace Drive
Crawley RH10 6JL
What happens with the children at church?
We regularly have a programme for the kids led by Children’s & Families Co-ordinator, Kerry Murray who can be contacted by mobile on 07810 120896, via the church office number 01293 512574 or by email kids@newlifecrawley.church
We cater for younger children with a creche we are currently developing as well as:
3 years old - 6 years old
7 years old - Year 7 (11yrs)
Children usually stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the morning. Someone will announce when the children need to go to their programme when that is relevant.
During the session, the children will get to do activities such as play games, do crafts, sing songs and learn about Jesus.
Children's workers are DBS checked.
We know how hard it can be for you and your kids to be part of a new group, so please do contact us if you have any questions about our children's work.
What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be a time of praise and worship (songs) for adults and children together. Afterwards, there will be a life related message from one of the leaders of the Church.
Children will often go to their groups for Sunday school whilst the adults listen to the message. We sometimes have a special Family Service led by various team members. These are always fun, engaging times where everyone can take part and enjoy the activities, music and hear a message to help us better understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Watch out for details or check out the Facebook page for updates.
Once the service is over there will be plenty of time for tea/coffee and a chance to meet people and have a chat. We are also happy to pray with you after the service if that is helpful to you. When you visit, please do introduce yourselves to one of the leadership team so we can provide you with any information you need about the life of the church.
Is there a dress code?
No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.
Will I have to join in?
Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them.
Please feel free to contact us. You can explore more about the Christian faith through our Christianity Explored Course.
If you want to know who works in the church office, check out our Staff and Leadership page.
